Description: 

A short walk on the Abel Tasman coastal track then take a left turn on to the Inland track, a fairly steep climb up to Holyoake Clearing taking approx 2 to 2 1/2 hours with stops to catch breath and enjoy the views. A decent lunch stop at the shelter before returning via an alternate track which takes us back down to the coastal track but further north. Return to Marahau via coastal track. Approx 6 to 7 hours round trip.
